Welcome!

Hello! My name is Miss Verba, and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Emerson. I am from Grand Island but went to UNK where I graduated in December of 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Inclusive, and a minor in Mathematics for Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching in Houston, Texas and also worked as a math and science interventionist there. I started teaching here at Emerson in 2020.

 

When I'm not at school, I love to read and travel. My goal is to visit all 50 states, and I'm about half way to meeting my goal! I also like going camping, fishing, and spending time with my family.
